Exploration - West Africa - Gold developer intercepts mineralisation

Gold exploration company West African Resources has reported high-grade drilling results from its Sanbrado Gold Project in Burkina Faso.

Location: Burkina Faso
Resource:  Gold

“M1 South has returned high-grade results including 0.5m at 280.3 grams per tonne of gold from 256m. Two wedge holes have also intercepted visible gold mineralisation. Results from the assays are pending,” says Richard Hyde, managing director at West African Resources. The company is on track to deliver a resource update in quarter three of 2017.

According to Hyde, six drill rigs are currently on site, working double shifts infilling and extending mineralisation. Ground geophysical surveys are underway, targeting additional M1-style mineralisation.
